Summary:
The Pelagic Fisheries Case Study aims to analyse at the EU and government level how to best address migration of stocks in relation to the relative stability key and negotiations within EU countries as well as non-EU countries based on different migration scenarios. Specifically, the Pelagic Fisheries Case Study will consider investments in fishing rights, which is a central management instrument for the majority of the pelagic fleets, and changes in and utilisation of capacity, which is underutilised for many of these highly specialised vessels.
